Dr. Chase Zeilenga chose to specialize in gastroenterology because of the variety the field offers. He enjoys meeting with patients face-to-face, listening to their concerns, and guiding them through the diagnostic process as well as medical or endoscopic treatment. Few specialties allow one physician to be involved in so many unique aspects of patient care.

He believes the goal of medical care is to help patients live the best quality of life possible. An office visit with Dr. Zeilenga is a partnership—beginning with an open, honest conversation about symptoms and experiences. From there, he works with patients as a team to determine the testing and treatment options that will help them feel their best.

Dr. Zeilenga treats a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions but has a particular focus on the prevention of colon cancer and the diagnosis and management of esophageal disorders.

Outside of work, he and his wife are proud parents of a baby girl who fills most of their free time. He is also an avid guitar player and enjoys snow skiing and fly fishing—hobbies he hopes to one day share with his daughter.
