About Sean Doran, D.O.
Dr. Sean Doran was born in St. Louis, MO and raised in various cities in the Midwest, graduating high school in Springfield, MO. He attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City to attain his degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine. After completing his undergraduate degrees and medical school in Kansas City, he loved the city so much he remained here for his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology through the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. Doran was the Chief Fellow during his final year of training. Dr. Doran enjoys gastroenterology because it allows him to care for a variety of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. He thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to provide meaningful cures, preventative care, and treatments for his patients through clinical encounters and procedures. His special interests include colorectal cancer screening/prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, and upper gastrointestinal illness.
Dr. Doran is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. In his free time, Dr. Doran enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He is an avid golfer and loves the outdoors. He is a big supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs and likes sampling a variety of Kansas City cuisine.

Doctor Doran thoroughly explained results of the procedure that was performed on my elderly mother. He was very kind and had great bedside manner.
