Dr. Jones received a Bachelor of Arts degree and medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1988. He went on to complete a three year internship and residency at the UMKC Consortium Hospitals in Internal Medicine. Following residency he entered the private practice of Internal Medicine for several years. He then chose to pursue a specialty practice in Gastroenterology/Hepatology and completed a three year fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas in 2002.
Dr. Jones is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Jones enjoys the diagnostic challenge of medicine and the ability to help patients with difficult gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Jones’ hobbies include traveling, fly fishing, skiing, and reading.

The experience was nothing I expected. It was much better from the front desk to the nurses and doctor. Everyone put my nerves to ease and made the entire seamless. This was my 1st Colonoscopy and it was great.
Phomanenal service. I was just in to get a Nexplanon implant removed and a new one put in- it only took 15 minutes for both! She was very personable and professional. Love that she answered all my questions and informed me so well. I called at 3pm and they got me in their schedule for the next morning. My only complaints is that there isn't enough parking spots, all of them are filled. There isn't much bruising the next day. Much better than my previous experience in Kansas City.
Certainly nothing I look forward to, but at this facility they take very good care of you. They explain things keep you comfortable and are good about a good follow up call.

The process was very professional. I was very pleased with the staff. I did prep with pills this time which was much better for me that the liquid.
Only item for improvement I have is while the front waiting area posted WI FII access and password, once my spouse got on thinking she could work while waiting, there was not internet access. This would have been a big plus for person who brought me to continue to work.

Dr. Jones did excellent procedure and provided complete details.
Great staff, they did a great job at helping me put me at ease!! procedure was over before I knew it and I was on my way! Thanks for making something scary for me so easy and painless!!
Staff is great, anesthetist was a little brusque and didn’t ever really look at me when talking to me. I love classic rock but it’s not very calming in that situation. Would rather have something more easy listening.
